According to Emploi-Québec, work perspectives are affected by the negative demographic growth and aging workforce. This makes training our youth all the more pertinent.  

More than 1,3 million people will join the workforce between now and 2018. 80% of these prospects should be hired to fill the empty chairs left by planned departures in existing positions.    

Low graduation rate in Montreal

According to the report from the Groupe d’action sur la persévérance et la réussite scolaires au Québec, chaired by L. Jacques Ménard, Savoir pour pouvoir: Entreprendre un chantier national pour la persévérance scolaire, 31 % of young Quebecers aged 20 have not obtained a high school diploma or the equivalent.
